SHPE REGION VI
LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT
CONFERENCE
The concept of the Regional Leadership Development Conference was born in 1987 and has gone through many phases before coming to its current structure. The purpose of the RLDC is to strengthen the Student and Professional Chapters in the Regions and provide a regional event where the future chapter board leader’s strengths are fortified for the upcoming year. Members will gain knowledge and development in areas as SHPE organizational structure and services, personal development, leadership development and career development.
The Regional Leadership Development Conference (RLDC) enhances the leadership skills of the upcoming new chapter board and future leaders with the purpose of improving the leadership and proper transition of it. This conference is held in each of the seven regions of SHPE between the months of March and April.
